Our Programs

Creative Corner offers a wide variety of convenient programs from Infant to Kindergarten, up to 11 hours per day, 52 weeks per year, from 7am to 6pm, as well as an exciting Summer Program.

Creative Corner's Summer Program is fun and educational, serving children up to seven years of age.  Teachers work together to create school wide themes, and provide the children with fun, active and hands on curriculum.  Examples include: Creative Arts, Ocean Studies, Worldly Adventures, All About Sports, and much more!

In correlation with the weekly themes, Creative Corner offers visits from enrichment programs within our community.  Children have explored ocean animals with the Boston Aquarium, learned about reptiles during a live reptile show, danced with Dance Force Entertainment, and laughed to Big Joe The Story Teller’s wacky stories!  Don’t forget your bathing suits; children participate in water play to beat the summer heat.

Parents are encouraged to meet with the Director and tour the school so that they may review the multiple programs options available to them and select a program that best fits their needs.

Enrichment Programs
We feature a monthly thematic curriculum with unique hands-on enrichment experiences, including visits from the New England Aquarium's Tide Pool Sea Life Program, Drumlin Farm's Audubon Ark of live farm animals, storytellers such as Mother Goose & Big Joe, as well as yoga & creative movement classes, computer classes, Spanish, and more!

The Winchester Public Library and Creative Corner have joined hands in expanding our language/reading development program.  The Children's Librarian visits the school monthly, and shares a story and a language based enrichment activity.  The goals are to extend the children's problem-solving skills and reinforce their pre-reading skills at the age-appropriate level.  And most importantly, to excite them about the world of reading and imagination!
