Teacher of the Month:
Diana Ali
A Winchester native, Diana Ali not only teaches at Creative Corner School, but is a CCS graduate as well. Diana often came home from preschool ecstatic about the art projects and new friends she made. One of Diana’s closest friends is one of her first friends she made while attending Creative Corner School. After graduating Winchester High School and beginning a degree in early childhood at Salem State, Diana came back to us to teach part time at a place she feels at home at. Diana is outgoing, funny and loves her cat, Mr. Kittens dearly. After spending a few years on campus, Diana moved back in with her parents to be closer to work. Diana loves the children she teaches. She refers to her students as amazingly smart. Diana also adores her co-workers and enjoys working side by side with so many incredible teachers and mentors. It goes without saying but we are so proud to have a former student on our teaching staff at Creative Corner School.
Good teachers share experiences, wisdom and expertise and are characterized by mutual respect, trust, understanding and empathy. We adore our teachers at Creative Corner School and the children think the world of them too. Our teachers are always guiding and building trust with the children and their parents and they care so deeply for each child that comes through our doors treating each one as their very own.

From the moment our teachers are hired, they are immediately welcomed into a stimulating environment of passionate educators that encourage ideas and foster professional growth. Every step of a teacher’s journey with Creative Corner School is carefully vetted and monitored to ensure we attract and hold onto the best in the field. Our teachers are encouraged to take advanced classes to continue their professional development and keep on top of current research, methodology and child assessment standards.
We are lucky to have over 40 teachers that are Licensed ECC Certified. The vast majority of our core teaching staff is degreed, with some holding Masters. While our infant and toddler teachers are not required to have a 4 year college degree, many of our teachers on staff do. We are proud to help send our teachers to school whenever there is a desire and need. Every teacher on staff are certified in First Aid and CPR.
Our teachers spend a lot of time interacting with parents. They provide parents with progress reports on a regular basis. Our parents are welcome and encouraged to visit their child’s class at any time and communication with their child’s teacher is a priority.
